La France - 2014

These photos have been on my mind in the last few days. I think it's the glory of summer and vacation calling to me in a colder, darker, busier season. Looking back, I am struck by how lucky these girls are...

 to have dipped their feet in the Loire River

  

hiked Burgundy hillsides

 

stayed in a 4 flower village (the equivalent of a 4 star hotel in the French floral rating system) 

 

noticed little things

 

 

      eaten chocolates by a castle moat

       raced through vineyards

 

 

seen wonders

discovered metro currents

danced on the Rue de Rivoli

and been fully alive

in France!

You'd have to look long and hard to find a lovelier family than this one, which is why I keep crossing the Atlantic to be with them.
